How to arrange a columbarium viewing in Singapore

A simple, unhurried way to see a venue in person with Benjamin.

Message Benjamin on WhatsApp with the venue you would like to see and your preferred dates. He will check the arrangements with the operator and confirm a time with you. Bring the family members involved in the decision, and a list of questions. There is no obligation to decide on the day.

What is a viewing for?

A viewing lets your family see the venue for yourselves: the surroundings, the niche areas and the way the place is run. It also gives you a chance to ask questions face to face.

It is an information visit, not a sales commitment. Many families visit more than once, or visit more than one venue, before deciding.

How do I arrange one?

The steps are short.

  1. Choose the venue you are curious about. If unsure, compare the three venues first.
  2. Send Benjamin a WhatsApp message on +65 8932 9933 with the venue and a few dates that suit you.
  3. Benjamin checks the arrangements with the operator and replies with a confirmed time.
  4. Share how many people are coming and whether anyone has special needs, such as a wheelchair or difficulty walking.
  5. Visit, look around and ask your questions. Take notes or photographs if the operator allows.

Which venues can I visit?

Benjamin works with three venues. Tell him which you have in mind and he will confirm what can be arranged.

What about timing and directions?

Visiting arrangements are set by each operator, so this page does not list hours. Benjamin will confirm a suitable date and time with you once he has checked.

For directions, Benjamin can share how to get to the venue and arrange a viewing that suits you. Please ask him when you book.

What should I bring and look out for?

Bring the family members who will be part of the decision, if possible, and a written list of questions. The checklist of questions before choosing a niche is a good start.

While there, notice how the place feels, how easy it is to move around and whether the staff explain things clearly. Ask for any terms in writing.

What happens after the viewing?

Go home, talk it over and take as long as you need. Benjamin can answer follow-up questions by WhatsApp, and can share current options and prices from the operator if you would like them.

If you would like a conversation first, read how to prepare for a consultation.

Common questions

Benjamin will confirm the arrangements with the operator when you book. You can ask him before you go.

Can I visit more than one venue?

Yes. Many families compare venues before deciding. Tell Benjamin which ones you would like to see.

Can I bring elderly family members?

Yes. Let Benjamin know of any mobility needs in advance so the visit can be planned sensibly.
